The event was attended by around 50 people, including academics, immigration lawyers and Embassy officials. The event was chaired by Sarah Spencer, Director of COMPAS (The centre on Migration, Policy and Society). After Jan Niessen’s presentation of the findings a reaction was given by Bharti Patel from ABNI (the Advisory Board on Naturalisation and Integration). A lunch event focusing on MIPEX was also held, on the same day, in the House of Commons and was attended by five MPs and two Lords. Further to this lunch a debate has been scheduled to take place in the House of Lords focusing on the UK results of MIPEX.
