The German Launch Debate was organised by the British Council and Friedrich Ebert Stiftung. The day started with a press breakfast and was followed by an expert worshop held at the British Council. In the evening a public event was held in the form of an international panel discussion with experts from the UK, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and Poland. The event took place at the Berlin Town Hall and was attended by an audience of 330 people.
